Skyline Park

A beautiful 30-acre park in Mesa, AZ that features softball and baseball fields as well as basketball courts and a playground. The park also includes ramadas of varying sizes and ample picnic areas.

Playgrounds

There are a variety of playgrounds at this beautiful park including one with a splash pad, suspension bridge, and water wall. There are also many swings, a basketball court, and a volleyball court.

The park is open from sunrise to 10 PM and offers a small exercise course, shaded picnic areas, and playgrounds for kids. The playground equipment is well maintained and there are a number of ramadas that can be reserved.

Located at 655 S. Crismon Rd, this large park has a lot to offer. There are four professionally groomed softball fields that span 10.5 acres along with two sand volleyball courts. The baseball fields require permits which are available through Mesa parks and recreational facilities. There is also a nice off-leash dog area, several picnic remodelers, lighted basketball and sand volleyball courts, and shaded playground equipment. Other parks in the area include Countryside Park at 3130 East Southern Ave which features lighted baseball and soccer fields, bleachers, restrooms, shaded playground equipment, and walking and biking trails as well as a community fishing lake and plenty of other amenities.

Picnic Areas

If you want to picnic in the sun, there are many great places to do it at Mesa Parks. For instance, Sahuaro Ranch Park has historic ranch buildings and shady palm trees. There is also a nice picnic area that offers views of the city and Mars Hill.

Greenfield Park has a beautiful community fishing lake, shaded picnic areas, playgrounds, and lighted basketball courts. It is also home to a lighted cement volleyball court and an exercise course.

Porter Park is another popular place to picnic in Mesa. It has a large playground, waterpark and train ride. The park is also located in a scenic wooded setting and has paved trails for hiking.

Volleyball Courts

In addition to the lighted baseball fields at Skyline Park, the complex also has two sand volleyball courts. The courts can be used by securing a permit. During the summer, games must be played between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. During the winter, the facility can be open to the public at 7:00 a.m., but games cannot begin any earlier than 9:00 a.m. Some winter open hours are subject to change due to overseeding and field playability.

The park also has several off-leash dog areas. It is the perfect place for families with kids. This is a great off-leash dog area with plenty of space to run around and explore. The area is very well maintained with a lot of sand.

Basketball Courts

Located on Crismon (not Crimson) road this 30-acre park has many baseball and softball fields, multiple basketball courts, playground equipment, picnic areas, and ramadas. They also have a fantastic off-leash dog park and a large amount of grass for activities. This large, multi-field complex opened in September of 2002 and has four professionally groomed softball fields that cover over 10.5 acres. The park has two sand volleyball courts, shaded playground equipment, 3 basketball courts, and 9 ramadas of varying sizes.
